Tuna Noodle Freezer Meal
Short on time or money? Managing your household on a budget? This tuna noodle freezer meal will help meet your time and cash budget crunch.
The family will love the creamy, familiar flavors too!
Kids like foods that are comfortable and familiar. This dish includes constant favorites: noodles and cheese, combined with easily identifiable vegetables, it’s bound to be a hit!
We all know how kids like veggies! Carrots, green beans, peas and corn are the usual combination in the frozen mixed vegetable package I buy. Kids trust those veggies.
Busy families are usually short on time – due to the many after school obligations. And who isn’t worried about the budget?
You can save yourself some worry by putting this dish into your regular menu rotation. Let’s face it, we’ve all eaten tuna noodle casserole when we needed to watch our pennies. That’s not news. However, making this as a freezer meal is news-worthy!
My favorite thing about freezer meals is the simple fact that I make them up when I have time to spend on prepping food. Then I put the package in the freezer for a busy day.
When I know the day’s schedule isn’t going to allow a lot of time for fixing supper, I pull one of the prepped meals out of the freezer and away we go!
I’ve put together a whole month’s worth of meals in my book, 30 Freezer Meals for Your Slow Cooker. You can get your own copy by clicking here for Amazon.
This dish is also a handy one to put together for new mothers or shut ins. If you package it up with a pretty new kitchen towel and a cheery card, you’ll make somebody’s day!
Go on, make somebody’s day.

When I was a single mom, raising two kids, going to college and juggling life, I desperately needed meals like this to keep my sanity. The options of fast food or pizza several nights a week was going to break my cash budget. (which was stretched enough already)
And frankly, fixing a meal from scratch every, single, night, was going to exhaust me. Too often “home cooked” meals turned out to be bologna sandwich or boxed mac & cheese.
Don’t get me wrong, I like those quick meals, but a family can’t survive on that kind of menu day in and day out.
