Tempt Them with Delightful Fresh Fruit Cheesecake
Tempt them. Tease them. Delight them. Serve this fresh fruit cheesecake for brunch. It’ll be the star of the day, and only you’ll know the secret.
Fresh strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and some mandarin oranges make this cheesecake the best you’ll serve for brunch. Don’t let anybody tell you that cheesecake is only for dessert!
Perfect for breakfast, because it’s full of fresh fruit and dairy, this cheesecake will charm even the dullest non breakfast eater into sitting down and having a luscious bite with their morning coffee.
Honestly, you don’t have to wait until dessert to eat cheesecake.

If you want to make your own New York Style Cheesecake, I recommend this recipe. It’s fairly easy and has been fail proof for me. I love that it’s light and airy while not having that super rich flavor of some cheesecake recipes.
However, if you’re in a hurry starting this recipe with a frozen, store bought cheesecake is a great short cut. Either way, cut the cake into serving slices prior to decorating the top with the fresh fruit.
This makes serving easy at the table. Use a long, sharp knife and wipe it clean between cuts to limit ragged edges on your slices.
Slice the strawberries into quarter sections to get the look in these pictures. If you slice the berries in half, you’ll have little hearts lining the edge of your cheesecake.
If you have extra fruit left over, serve alongside the cheesecake for those who want an extra dose of raspberries.

Now this is my kind of breakfast! I would love this instead of boring old oatmeal! All of the vitamin C from the fruit early in the day! LOVE this!
Michele, join me on the wild side! Gotta start early to get in all those servings of fruits and veggies!
What a beautiful cheesecake. There is nothing like fresh fruit to bring out the sweet flavor of a springtime dessert.
Thanks Ali,
You’re so right about the light sweetness of fruit … those berries were to die for!
That’s so pretty! And of course cheesecake is for ALL DAY eating lol! I usually cheat and buy those canned fruit toppings (mostly to cover my cheesecake cracks haha) but fresh fruit is so much better
I will definitely try this next time.
Jolina, I think you’re my twin! Cheesecake is anytime food.
I’ve done the same trick to hide the cracks, but to find out how to avoid cracks, go read the cheesecake recipe https://www.apronfreecooking.com/recipes/how-to-make-new-york-style-cheesecake-at-home/
I rarely have cracks when I follow those tips.
Oh, wow!!! Cheesecake AND fruit!!??! Twice the deliciousness! Thanks for sharing
I know Nicole, it’s almost too much, isn’t it?
On second thought … never too much fruit.
I love fresh fruit on top of any cake! This looks so yummy! Thanks for sharing!
April, thanks for stopping by!
And, to think I thought cheesecake for breakfast was only a post birthday kind of thing. It does look delish.
Well, Rebecca, post birthday is a great reason to eat cheesecake for breakfast!
I want this cheesecake so bad, I am not big on them anymore as i get heartburn but someone get the ranine ready as I want this one
Anosa, if you’ve got antidote for heartburn, then it’s worth diving into the fresh fruit on this one and landing smack in the middle of the cheesecake!
Oh my god, that looks totally delicious! And so beautifully presented too. I’m a huge cheesecake fan, especially the baked american version and I’d say it’s absolutely gorgeous with all the fruit!
Thanks so much Cliona, you’re gonna make me blush! But really, I appreciate your comment on the photos. I was pleasantly surprised and completely satisfied with how they turned out.
I’ve started working out and eating healthy for the summer months… and this is enough to destroy my attempts, LOL…. fab photos of one of my favorite treats. CHEESECAKE!!!
Robin, cut the slices really small and give yourself a tiny reward. Fruit is healthy (grins) Dairy is healthy (grins)
But if a tiny slice would derail your efforts … then chin up and keep on working out! I admire that!!
ps – no calories in pictures (big grins)
Wow, that looks amazing! I am hungry now
Hope you’re making a cake to satisfy that hunger! Serve up a double helping, I don’t think the calories count when it’s a big slice.
I’m just SWOONING over the way you topped the cheesecake with fruit. It’s lined up so perfectly! I love it.
LOL Thanks Brittany! Looks pretty fancy huh? Really, all I did was start w/ the outside circle of strawberries and then work my way to the middle. Not hard after all.
Woah! I’m really enjoying the template/theme of this blog.
It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s very hard
to get that “perfect balance” between usability and
visual appearance. I must say you have done a fantastic job with this.
Additionally, the blog loads very fast for me on Safari.
Outstanding Blog!
