Savory Onion Bread
Savory onions, olives and cheese are baked right into this bread to create a delicious compliment for your soup. Easy to make with only five ingredients, too!
This bread tastes best while still warm from the oven, but it holds enough flavor to be eaten cooled down.
There’s something about the salty, tangy flavor combination of olives, onions and garlic that I can’t get enough of. It’s one thing to eat a pile of olives with cheese and crackers for a snack (or dinner). It’s quite another to add some cooked onions and a dash of garlic to the mix.
Then mix in a warm, layered, buttery bread … mmmm mmmm good.

This is one of those “WOW” dishes. I mean look at how pretty that bread is! People will think you’ve worked really hard to make a fancy loaf of bread. If you want to impress them, keep the secret of simplicity to yourself.
I’d suggest making two pans to take to a family gathering – so there’s plenty of bread to go around and just think how pretty two plates will look on the table! Your sister-in-law will be begging for your recipe!
