Peach and Blackberry Fruit Pizza
Fresh peaches and blackberries are the stars of this Peach and Blackberry Fruit Pizza. The name says it all. Add some Mandarin oranges and you’ve got the best dessert pizza in the neighborhood.
Not only is this dessert fruit pizza pretty to look at, it’s really quite easy to make also.
If you have a favorite sugar cookie recipe, you can use that to make the crust. In the name of #ConvenienceCooking, I used a package of refrigerated cookie dough.
I also used a can of prepared frosting, cream cheese flavor … these two short cuts mean this fruit pizza can be made almost any time.
Variations:
Instead of cream cheese icing, you can use plain white or vanilla frosting. Another option is to make your own spread with cream cheese and powdered sugar.
I’ve seen people who’ve added a layer of peach jello on top the white icing. Chilled, this makes a flavorful jelly layer to place the fruit on.
Any fresh fruit will work on a fruit pizza, I like strawberries with the blackberries, kiwi with the Mandarin oranges or blueberries and raspberries.
Make It a Meal:
This fruit pizza is a dessert pizza. Plain and Simple. It’s not what you’d usually use to make a meal. However, once in a while, a dessert buffet is a fun way to have supper!
You could set up a table and load it down with blackberry cobbler, peach and blackberry tarts, peach pies, and assorted cookies.
I would add these desserts as well: peach coffee cake, chocolate chip cookie brownies, skillet chocolate chip cookie, Mocha chocolate cake and apple tart.

How to Store Fresh Fruit Pizza:
Refrigerator: wrap in airtight covering. store in refrigerator for up to a week.
Freezer: fresh fruit will change consistency after being frozen. I don’t recommend freezing this fruit pizza with the fruit on top. You may freeze the frosted crust and add the fruit later. Wrap in airtight packaging like plastic wrap and aluminum foil.
