Make Your Own Easy Creamy Cilantro Lime Chip Dip
An easy creamy cilantro lime chip dip is the perfect accompaniment to your Cinco de Mayo meal. With only five ingredients, this dip is quick to mix up and will be the first empty dish on the table.
Light, refreshing, this dip is perfect for nacho chips, veggies, taco topping or pretty much just eating from the bowl. Trust me, you’ll love it!
We used this dip with a cheese and cracker tray one evening, while playing dominoes with some friends. I think the crackers were merely a method to transport the dip to the mouth. Giant scoops of dip traveled on those crackers.
If you’re hosting #TacoTuesday or #CincodeMayo, you’ll want to include this dish on the menu. It has a cooling flavor that works well with the hot spices of some Mexican dishes. It’s light enough to use on fish tacos, too.

The lime and cilantro flavors blend quite nicely. The sour cream and the mayonnaise meld together into a smooth dip. Give this recipe a try and let me know in the comments how you like it.
