Lavender Chamomile Tea
If you’re stressed out, a cup of tea is a wonderful way to relax. Lavender Chamomile tea is especially calming.
It’s easy to make herbal tea blends at home.
Variations:
If you like a bit of sweetness in your Lavender Chamomile tea, you can add your favorite sweetener. I use honey with this tea, but white sugar, brown sugar, and stevia work well.
Make It a Meal:
Serve your lavender chamomile tea with Tea Muffins, Cappuccino Bread or Fruit Cocktail Cake.
Benefits of Lavender
Lavender is a plant known world wide for many things, the most commonly known benefit of lavender is that it helps you sleep.
Lavender has also been shown to help: stabilize moods, sooth nerves, work as expectorant, balance blood sugar, kill bacteria and relieve pain.
Benefits of Chamomile
Chamomile is also a traditional sleep aid. It has long been known to be a mild sedative and to induce sleep.
Additionally, chamomile benefits: reduce cold / sinus pain, reduce inflammation in the mouth, aids in reducing menstrual pain, and relieve skin burns.

Lavender Chamomile Tea Recipe
Ingredients:
Lavender flowers, chamomile flowers, water.
1 tsp Lavender flower buds
1 tsp Chamomile flowers
8 ounces boiling water
steep 10 minutes

A calming herbal tea blend, this lavender chamomile tea is easy to make at home.
Ingredients
- 1 tsp Lavender flower buds
- 1 tsp Chamomile flowers
- 8 ounces boiling Water
Instructions

Mix Lavender and Chamomile flowers in a small bowl.

Bring a kettle of water to boil.

Place lavender and chamomile in French Press or tea strainer.

Pour boiling water over the tea.

Steep 10 minutes
