Homemade Italian Salad Dressing
How do you take a good salad to a higher level? Add Homemade Italian Salad Dressing.
This great tasting homemade Italian salad dressing recipe is so simple, you may never purchase store bought dressing again!
Since this recipe uses ingredients you may already have on your pantry shelf, the cost is but pennies a serving.
Variations:
This recipe is on that is easily adapted. You can replace the Italian Seasoning with your favorite herb blend.
I used apple cider vinegar, because I love how it blends with olive oil. However, you can use any vinegar you have on hand: distilled, balsamic, white, or whatever.
This dressing is also flexible with the oil used. I have used vegetable oil in place of the olive oil. You don’t have to make a special trip to the grocery, if you don’t have olive oil. Corn, sunflower, and safflower oils work just as well.
This recipe is very forgiving!
Make It a Meal:
Add this homemade Italian salad dressing to potato salad, tossed salads or even as a marinade for chicken or pork.
I used this homemade Italian salad dressing with the Confetti Bean Salad I made earlier in the week.
