Herb Cheese Dip
If you’re looking for a cheesy appetizer dip that doesn’t go overboard on richness, this herb cheese dip is the answer you needed. Three kinds of herbs and three kinds of cheese compliment each other nicely.
The secret? Cottage cheese. I know, that 1970s diet food has come a long way. Check out this recipe, that anybody can mix up and you’ll be a believer!
I made a bowl of this herb cheese dip to serve when we had friends over. I have to tell you, that bowl was emptied in a hurry. You know you’ve got a winning recipe when the bowl is scraped clean!
Variations:
You can use any three herbs that you love together. Try parsley and sage with the rosemary. Maybe you love red pepper and onion flakes with your oregano. The versions are endless!
Another exchange that is easy to make: switch up the cheeses. Trade out Mozzarella for Gouda. Substitute chedder for the Parmesan. You can even use ricotta in place of the cottage cheese.
Make It a Meal:
Planning a family and friends game night? Set up a table of appetizers and snacks that people can easily eat between games or even while they wait their turn at the game board.
Favorites: Dulce de Leche dip, Hot Crab Dip and Creamy Cilantro dip.
